The 20th edition (begun on 1991) of an international show of works no larger than 20 cm (8 inches) square presented side-bar displays of larger works in a former church in Italy's premiere textile city. The theme for this year is Un Giorno de Felicita (One Happy Day). Fifty-four pieces were accepted from more than 400 international entries.

Lodz, POLAND
The longest-running (begun 1972) world-wide survey of the state of contemporary fiber art presents 131 fiber objects by artists living in 50 nations who were invited to show large-scale objects. Works by American artist-Friends Regina Benson, Lanny Bergner, Tim Harding, Nancy Koenigsberg and Mary Zicafoose are on view in the former textile manufacturing complex that is now arguably the largest textile museum in the world. Concurrently cities all around Poland present shows of fiber work by local and international artists.
